Subject: John Darling Colliery Stables, in the northern corner of the site. Dating from c1928, it had a gable roof & arched windows along both walls. Stores & workshops were added on the sides, with an extended bellcast roof covering them.(Doring Neg.492.29)

Subject: A new wing added on the south end of the Central Office in the 1960s. Some trouble has been taken to make it compatible with the earlier building. It is also red cavity brick. It has built in planter boxes along the east & west walls. (Doring Neg.492.17)
